  1. Canadian police are investigating the mysterious death of the billionaire founder of the pharmaceutical company and his wife at home yesterday.
  2. Barry Sherman, founder of Canada Apotex Inc and wife Honey, died in their Toronto home on December 15. Police found two bodies after receiving emergency calls from their mansion, according to Reuters.
  3. "Their situation is very suspicious, we are investigating in this direction," said officer David Hopkinson.
  4. Exchanging with reporters gathered outside, the detective team investigators said the villa showed no signs of being hacked. The body was covered with blankets from the house on a truck yesterday evening. Sherman's house is on sale for nearly $ 5.4 million.
  5. Sherman, 75, founded Apotex in 1974. He resigned as CEO in 2012 but remains the executive chairman. Forbes estimates Sherman owns a $ 3.2 billion fortune. Apotex has 11,000 employees, is the 7th largest drug producer in the world.

  8. Toronto mayor John Tory said he was "shocked and hurt" by the news. Mr Tory said the Sherman couple contributed so much to the city.
  9. "Toronto police are investigating, and I hope the investigation will soon be for all of us - those who are suffering from this great loss," Tory said.
