Real Madrid star Marcos Asensio is open to a move to Manchester United, according to reports in Spain. The youngster has established himself as one of Los Blancos’s most exciting talents, but in doing so, is growing frustrated about a perceived lack of game time at the Bernabeu. While featuring in plenty of games for the European champions, he is reportedly unhappy at being left out of the club’s Champions League and biggest La Liga fixtures. Now, in what will be a much needed boost for Manchester United fans, Asensio is ‘open to a move’ to Old Trafford. This is the claim in Spanish publication Diario Gol, who say that he is prepared to leave the Bernabeu in search of more playing time. However, any potential move by United for the 21-year-old would not come cheap. Asensio recently signed a new contract, committing his future to the club until 2023, with a buyout clause of a staggering €500 million.
