Easily the best Apple Store that I've ever been to. I'm in business, on the air in less than half an hour. I don't live there, I don't gamble, and my card had not been stolen.
Apparently a team member was leaving the company, the whole sales team and there were heaps of them! We went home, made an appointment for the next day.
The credit card number was definitely hacked from Apple, since itune is the only place where that credit card number is strored. Ok, so I like Apple. Now I need a phone and laptop. It was awesome to see a little memorial with best wishes and flowers for Steve Jobs a couple of days ago at the main entrance in paying our respects for this great legend who is already sorely missed. Parking in Chatswood Chase on the weekends is tough and it made us 10 minutes late for our Apple appointment. They were keen, knowledgeable and very helpful. I explained this was not acceptable considering I had made time to come in and see them for a problem with hardware that is less than 6 months old and paid for a cab each way. This business is categoried in mobile telephones - service and repairs, mobile telephones - service and repairs. I have reported to my bank and they have now blocked the card. The issue with apple is that, a card number is mandatory for apple id, therefore I will always be vulnerable to fraud like this. If someone in Apple is listening, you guys need to do something about this very quickly before people start losing confidence over your ability to protect customer data. And how did you lose money. My credit card companies do not expect me to pay for fraudulent purchases by someone else.
