Everton manager Ronald Koeman has left the club, the team announced Monday. Everton is off to a poor start to the season with just eight points in the club’s first nine games and within the relegation zone on the Premier League table. The team hasn’t fared much better in Europa League play, either, with just one point in the team’s opening three games of group-stage play. This departure comes just a day after Everton fell to Arsenal 5-2. Koeman originally signed a three-year contract in June 2016.
