An Australian gentleman named Trade Fortress stated that hackers had stolen his company's 4,100 BTC... that's just a little more than $1 million worth of digital liquid,

The unfortunate man penned that apparently, cyber criminals lifted the Bitcoins by hacking his site a couple of times, on October 23 and October 26, they were said to have used social engineering to gain access to his database. 

Bitcoins are virtually irretrievably recovered once sent out. Mr fortress said that he did not plan on reporting the sophisticated crime to the local law officials.

NOTE: 
As the virtual currency becomes more popular, Bitcoin’s lack of regulation may become a less attractive feature than it once was.
