Blue Penny Museum If you look forward to knowing about the history and art culture of Mauritius, the best place to visit would be the Blue Penny Museum. The museum is located at Caudan Waterfront which is in Port Louis, Mauritius. There are many important assets within the museum like the “Paul and Virginia” original sculpture which was carved by Prosper d’Épinay in 1881. The museum also houses the oldest stamps in the country – the Blue Penny and Red Penny stamps of 1847. Since there rare items are very valuable, copies are displayed most days and the original ones are sometimes shown but not daily.
