A 30-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party worker was stabbed to death allegedly by Communist Party of India-Marxist cadres in the politically sensitive Kannur district of Kerala.

In another incident in the district, a country-made bomb was hurled at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Karyalaya at Thaliparamba on Thursday morning, police said, adding no one was injured in the incident.
