It is about your satisfaction with performance. This mag is bigger in the pocket than the 6-round mag, and it makes the pistol bigger for pocket carry, but its nice to have a factory mag for this option. I'd never considered the original LCP as a BUG because the trigger sucked, the sights were minuscule and the slide didn't lock back after the last round. Mass can mean one bullet or several bullets fired in succession.
It is relatively compact with a height of 4. Some of these pistols are out of production but available on the aftermarket. I have a question.
Excellent for the price. One of the zip saving measures used by the company is to use sights that are integral to the slide instead of replaceable sights that are dovetailed into place. I particularly like the safety setup on the Taurus PT99, 917 Compact, 809, and new TH9 pistols. Most folks find this piece of experimentation to be impractical, so they turn to the internet. The EC9S is great to; the sights are fixed so what, especially for that price. 
ruger ec9s problems - If you are happy with what you have and it works reliably, why change? I particularly like the safety setup on the Taurus PT99, 917 Compact, 809, and new TH9 pistols.
A different type of takedown instead of the pin would be nice too I'm happy with the LC9S as it is and am pretty attached to it, not wanting to leave home without it. Have had a LC9 and LC9S since they first came out. A fantastic weapon, totally reliable. At the new model price, I will definitely get another for a backup. I shoot the crap out of this gun. A whole lot of ammo down range. It is also my main carry along with my Pico. I had a gun smith install a set of nice night sites. So since I know this gun well, carry it all the time, know it is totally reliable, I think I will get the New model for just Range time. Let it continue to take the beating I put through it. Shot 150 rounds of russian wolf or tula 9mm, whatever it was. Didn't have ANY -failure to fire -failure to extract -Etc Worked flawlessly. Recoil is pretty snappy to me, but maybe that's just because I'm use to shooting a mark 2. Only annoying part is it won't fire without a magazine, might take that piece out.. Looks like it would be the same no frills idea as the 9e. Got it home and cleaned it up from all the mfg crud. I also polished the feed ramp tested it out. That could be good or bad depending on how you look at it Do you mean ProMag instead of MagPro? ProMag is the maker of many a poor quality mag. They normally need a lot of work to function well. That could be good or bad depending on how you look at it 9 mm cases are tapered. Take 10 rounds, lay then on their side and push them together and you will see just how much the tapering is.
