CRYPTOCURRENCIES LATEST NEWS:  EU Commissioner for Finance: "We do not plan to react to bitcoins"

European Commissioner for Finance Pierre Moscovici (Pierre Moscovici) in a recent interview explained that at this stage of the policy of the European Union has not yet planned to "react" to the phenomenon of bitcoin. The EU adds the definition of a digital currency to the current legislation, but the financial commissioner says they do not plan to regulate bitcoin.

The popularity of bitcoin is growing all over the world, regulators and officials of some countries are increasingly discussing it. The US, Asian and EU governments are thinking about ways to regulate cryptocurrency through pressure on the stock exchange. "We are watching and analyzing it, but we do not see the need to react to bitcoins at this stage ...," Moskovichi said.
