There is no foreign God that speaks to us, takes us out of the muck & mire, that takes somebody who has nothing & makes them something. Our God is not just any kind of God he's a good God of the supernatural. When he says "Follow me" he's taking us somewhere where we haven't been before. He's got things planned for us. When we give our commitment, make ourselves available, give God the time we have on our hands & put our hands to the plough. Never undermind ourselves the change cannot take place unless we commit our ways to the Lord. God will release his resources from heaven, he's no man's debtor he's about to pay us in double, press down shaken together & running over.... 
There's a God that loves us, he doesn't keep all the resources for himself he gives it to us. When we look at all the world religions non of their signs & wonders was for the benefit through love. No matter how many times we can faulter, fail, come short, we can always run down to the altar, there's always room for us, God's not a God to condemn, he's not there with a whip to whip us, yes he's a righteous God, yes he's a God of justice,  he gives us his armour so that we're covered....
