South Kambui Hills Forest Reserve
To see some of the protected animals in Sierra Leone, you have to go to South Kambui Hills Forest Reserve. You can reach this place if you go east of the country. It covers 14,335 hectares of land and is near the town of Kenema. Be careful when you visit this place, though. You will encounter great slopes that can hurt you pretty bad if you don’t exercise the necessary precautions. Some of them rise up to 645 meters! Nevertheless, this reserve is home to 200 birds including the white-neck picathartes, copper-tailed glossy-starling, and the green-tailed bristlebill.
