Acton is a unincorporated evaluation assigned place in Los Angeles County, California close to the Antelope Valley. As indicated by the 2010 evaluation, Acton had a populace of 7,596 up from 2,390 at the 2000 registration. Acton is a little private group situated in the rough Sierra Pelona Mountains. It is off the Antelope Valley Freeway (Highway 14) close Palmdale. Acton is about 20 miles (32 km) upper east of the San Fernando Valley and 47 miles (76 km) north of downtown Los Angeles. The town has a country western subject which can be found in its homes, business structures, and verifiable structures (some of which go back to the late 1800s). The homes in the mountains around Acton have extraordinary perspectives of the valley beneath. In the valley are farm style homes, frequently with equestrian offices. While Acton is not a piece of the Antelope Valley, it is gathered together with the "AV" in the General Plan. Acton has a Metro link worker rail station, on its fringe with Palmdale that is themed in an "old western" style and has been seen in different motion pictures and advertisements.
