The European Parliament has voted to end the visa-free travel for Americans within the European Union.
The passing of this non-binding resolution comes after the US failed to agree to fulfill its obligation of visa-free travel to US for the citizens of five EU countries Poland, Romania, Croatia, Cyprus and Bulgaria, as part of the visa free travel reciprocity agreement.
The Americans were previously allowed to travel without a visa to all countries in the EU.
