CNN is reporting that Nelson Mandela has died at the age of 95 years old. 

Now if you don`t who this guy was, he was a pretty good dude. He fought against apartheid and accomplished a lot, including becoming the first black president of South Africa, winning over 250 awards including the Nobel Peace Prize. 

He was also a huge inspiration for Barack Obama, so you can expect the president to speak on this soon. 

He has a stadium, a museum, and a children`s fund named after him. July 18th has been named Mandela Day.
