Manchester City has joined Manchester United in the race to sign Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti, according to report.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is a fan of the France international and he is keen to bring him to England as per Don Balon


Umiti is also on the radar of Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, the Portuguese  is
of the opinion that the former Lyon defender is suited to the style of the Premier League.

Barcelona seeks to retain the defender as they are set to open new contracts talks with Umititi in a bid to raise his current buyout clause which is €60m.

The Catalan giants are confident of the commitment of the defender but they recognize they are now vulnerable to losing him to any big spending clubs.
