The Batman Movie (2022) will be released next weekend. The Movie is projected to be the biggest opening for a Batman film .



Batman  claims to be  a standout superhero film this year. The role of Batman this time is played by Robert Pattinson.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has been the guide behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) vision, navigating the franchise through 14 years of success, starting with Iron Man  in 2008. As the most influential figure in superhero  on screen, his opinions carry a lot of weight. Turns out, he's already talked about what he thinks of The Batman .


 
This Marvel boss thinks The Batman is  great. Kevin Feige saw the trailer for The Batman  last year. The head of Marvel Studios responded positively, saying, "I thought it was great, and I thought he was great, and everyone was great," he said as reported on the Looper page , Sunday (27/2/2022).

He was, of course, referring to Andy Serkis, who takes on the roles of Bruce Wayne's butler and Alfred Pennyworth's parental figures in the upcoming film. Serkis directed  last year's sequel to Tom Hardy's Spider-Man spinoff , Venom: Let There Be Carnage and previously worked with  The Batman  director  Matt Reeves when he played Caesar the Ape in the Planet of the Apes  Reeves prequel trilogy.

Feige also singled out another The Batman star  with previous MCU praise, saying, "Jeffrey Wright, our Watcher, was great."

Wright plays Gotham Police Commissioner James Gordon in the new Batman film , and voices Watcher in the Disney+ MCU animated series, "What If...?". Feige continued, "I'm starting to think this is Jeffrey Wright's world and we live in it."

It's a bit surprising that Feige gives his credit for some great examples that are somewhat non-descriptive, and he picks actors with connections to Marvel projects for particular adoration.


 
After all, DC remains Marvel's biggest competitor at the box office , and perhaps Feige knows better than to give away too much free press. As we all know, with great power comes great responsibility.
