We took a 3 week road trip around the canyon lands of the southwest United States this fall to celebrate 25 years of marriage.

The weather couldn't have been better considering the trip was later in the season.

We left North Idaho on November 5th. There was snow on the ground at home, and the first day of driving was a little dicey with icy road conditions, but after that day we enjoyed an unseasonably warm weather pocket which has continued through the rest of the trip.

Today is the final day of driving. The sun is shining. The past 5000 miles have been restful and gratitude-filled.
