The streets came to a standstill as thousands gathered to pay their respects to brave Bradley Lowery who captured the nation’s heart. On Friday brave Lowery was laid to rest after his all too short life.

A memorial service for the youngster who got etched in our memories over the last few months during his battle against neuroblastoma, was held in his home village of Blackhall Colliery. However, one of the guests claims something that brought the whole funeral back in news. According to what the mourner says, the face of a boy could clearly be seen in the clouds looking down on the memorial service

He has also posted a picture of clouds above the church that reportedly parts the face of a young boy and the shape of a heart.

Writing on Facebook, Mark Shields said, “I took this picture at Bradley’s funeral today, just a bit surreal that I looked up for a second and a blue heart formed over the church however the picture has revealed something else.”



“Look in the top right corner at the little boys face. This is unbelievable,” he said.



The streets of Blackhall Colliery came to a standstill as thousands gathered to say goodbye to the courageous six-year-old Sunderland fan.



The packed village fell silent as the bagpipes of the procession echoed through the streets.



His family tonight thanked all those who came to give Brad “an amazing send off”.



A statement on Facebook said, “It was very overwhelming but I was very proud of how brave my amazing family and friends were.



“I’m going to take a few weeks off to grieve now but once I’ve did that the Bradley Lowery foundation will be well on its way to supporting other children.”
