This is the problem with superannuation. Who are you to tell me what I have to do and can do with my money?
I understand there are options in super management and the ability to setup a SMSF etc, however most people cannot or don't know how to do this easily and efficiently.
If someone said to me should I access my super to buy my first home, I would say yes every day of the week.
The wealth achieved through home ownership and the opportunity it presents to invest further is high.
If it is your money and if it is going to assist in providing a better financial future and lifestyle, I think this is better than potentially struggling through life until you can access this money at 65.
