Cryptospout 3.0 Posted on October 15, 2015 by cryptospout Cryptospout has come a long way from being just a dogecoin faucet, With the addition of more coins in features the site has experienced some serious growing pains that have just been patched to keep running. For awhile now I have been writing a complete rewrite of the backend. One of the top reasons for doing this is so I can add more coin varieties that I could not Previously do with the older code. Also the site has been having some performance issues that had been due to some inefficient table structures and constant calls to the wallet daemons. Although today’s update is only getting the code in place and making it works as intended the near future will see some updates and features that had previously been impossible. What does this mean for the users? You may notice the site performance will be faster but today’s update is simply just getting the code in place and making sure everything is still functioning as it was previously. This also means that your old statistics will no longer be available for viewing. Why the old stats are not being imported? The table designs between the two versions of code are considerably different. Due to the way I am now calculating user statistics, adding the old data to the tables would cause some undesired results for statistics and payouts. I could physically manipulate these results but have decided to just start fresh. What about the pending transactions? All previous pending transactions that have not been paid will be imported into the new database. When will XMR be added? soon™
