Wild Card’s Method to Amazon $$$! Now before I begin I just want to warn you against sharing this method. Protect your investment by keeping it to your own eyes. Sharing it with just one friend sounds good but your friend will do the same with another friend and eventually it will become saturated. Prerequisites  Have an Amazon account (obviously)  Find a product worth $200-$300 (at what Amazon values it) that is available for trade-in on Amazon o Link o You can go over the recommended value but it’s at your own risk, don’t be greedy.  Have patience  Be persistent Step 1: First you must set up the trade in for your desired item. The condition of the item is irrelevant since you aren’t going to be sending it anyways. When you get to the shipping part make sure you select “Carrier of your Own Choice” After you have done that finalize the trade-in and you are done with the first stage! Step 2: After a weeks’ time has gone by go into Amazon support chat and ask them if they have received your trade-in yet. When they say no start going on about how it should of gotten there already since you used fast shipping etc. They will tell you to wait a bit longer. IF they ask you about a tracking # tell them you don’t have one because you didn’t purchase the service with the Postal Service and no one told you that you needed one. It is best if you try to avoid the subject of a tracking number in the beginning, try to manipulate the subject away from it if possible. Step 3: At your own discretion reconnect to Amazon chat in a few days time again inquiring on the status of your trade-in. Start to get pushy with the representative. Tell them that you need the trade-in money for a birthday for your kid or something along the lines of that. They should mention that if you are still waiting after 30 days to contact them back. I recommend talking to them once a week after this chat still asking about the trade-in and requestion your money. Step 4: At this point you have now waited 30 days for your trade-in. It is their policy to consider a trade-in “Lost” if has gone uncompleted for 30 days. Reconnect inquiring mentioning it has been 30 days since you shipped the product. They should ask for a tracking number. Tell them again that no one requested that you buy the service. This is where you have to get pushy and persistent. Insist that you receive your payment because it is likely that Amazon lost your trade-in. Guilt them with the “You guys didn’t give me the trade-in money in time for my kids birthday!” Mention how you have been waiting this long, need the money, etc. I can’t mention all the possibilities on how to manipulate the rep but just keep trying. If you feel like it’s going in circle request to speak with a supervisor. If that supervisor still refuses ask them if there is anyone higher than them. They should say you will receive a response in 24-48 hours. If getting the money from the supervisor and rep failed, this manager that is getting back to you should provide you the trade in money. Note: Trade-in money will be in the form of a promotional certificate, it is only applicable to items
