NEW DELHI, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) - No less than 16 individuals, for the most part elderly ladies, were killed and two dozen others were harmed in a rush which softened out at a habitation the northern Indian blessed town of Haridwar Tuesday, said police.the occurrence happened when several individuals had assembled for the century festivals of Hindu religious Master Pandit Sriram Sharma at Shantikunj Ashram (temple).the charge broke out when an expansive number of adherents attempted to enter the door of the sacred spot to participate in a "yagya" or flame custom as a feature of the festivals.
