The question is if they have their website down for 2 days, and the tickets and emails not answered for more than 1 month. I'll wait some time more. Eduard. Looks like 2 out of their 3 (apparent) servers are still online... so if you're still able to access your cPanel make sure to go in and grab a backup of your data, as fast as possible. The one server they do have down serves as one of their nameservers and as a host for their main website and client area. Domain private whois info and the fact that they don't seem to have a valid WHMCS license (anymore?) are not good signs at all. If you are on the offline server, I sure hope you had backups of your data. Good luck. Uptime Monitor - Minimize your downtime by being the first to know about it! A lil bit of work: - search their domain whois info - notice it has 3 nameservers, all theirs - look up each nameserver IP info, notice that they're also cPanel IPs as well, also notice the main website's IP is the same as one of the nameserver's IPs - all rDNS marked in consecutive orders: srv0.domain, cps1.domain, cps2.domain (the 3 servers) - try to resolve other hostnames in consecutive order to possibly find more servers, ie: srv1.domain, srv2.domain, srv3.domain, cps3.domain, cps4.domain; none resolving so it'd be somewhat safe to assume they don't exist Had a lil bit of time while waiting for my food delivery Uptime Monitor - Minimize your downtime by being the first to know about it! Luckily I have backup of all sites. The fact is that the server worked well (when worked), the DC is Leaseweb Deutschland, with a great uptime. As I am not a reseller, do not need a WHMCS, WHM is there and functional. This reminders me of the ill fated 'IceBlueHost', only there is not money involved (aside from my account was already paid until march 2019). Well, such things happen sometimes. Thanks for your information. Eduard Selma. Apparently LDHosting is run by Steve Davies, there's some contact info including a phone number: https://www.bizseek.co.uk/ldhosting-01384-341633 Yes, Steve Davies (and a partner, formerly) run this business when I subscribed. Many thanks for the information. Eduard Selma. Has anyone been able to get their site fully back up yet? Hope everyone has backups just in case you need to end up moving the data somewhere else. When things are down and to not get any response at all makes it so much harder because you just don't know exactly what is going on and when things will be back up and running again. Also have to wait and see to make sure your customers will understand and wait until things are back up. Any updates? Did they ever get back to you and are they still down? Their website is still down. There is an old Facebook account stopped in 2013. From my side, emptied the accounts hosted there and now they are running ok elsewhere. Sorry for the lost money, not much, all in all. Could be worse. Thanks again for your interest. (And my kind regards to Steve Davies)... How many others have been affected I wonder? Why don't you contact him here? http://www.webhostingtalk.com/member.php?u=211781 Why don't you contact him here? http://www.webhostingtalk.com/member.php?u=211781 I doubt that'd do any good, he hasn't been active on WHT for over a year. Besides, after 3 and a half months of downtime, I think it's safe to assume that the host and all its data is permanently gone. Why you didn't move after the first incident and post-outage ridiculous handling. Why you didn't move after the first incident and post-outage ridiculous handling. Yes, as stated before, all the critical sites were moved to another host (also WHT friendly), only few minutes downtime. The remaining site was only the 'umbrella' site for this reseller account. In fact, it was a multisite, i did no resell nothing. This way I know when the hosting cease finally their service. Just registered here because I am really frustrated by what happened. I am with LDHosting for like 7 years and they had always very good service for they money. Also all the past time I had nil issues and almost no downtime. I have like 7 sites there working. And suddenly with no warning everything goes down. No email, no nothing. Just not working. i was like working on a site there like 2 days ago and now it is down. I have no recent backups, apart from those on the server, and to be honest I had no warning that something was amiss. Everything looked like day one. No interupption, no downtime, no problem. And now I can see no way of getting my data. I am really tired and pressed by this mess. Do you think there a chance that "Steve" will bring everything online? Thanks anyway guys. It drives me nuts to see people affected by something like this and bothers me even more to know that if they knew they should be keeping off-provider backups no matter who the provider is or what they promise unless the data is expendable they could just restore that data on a new provider and at least be back online without losing content or work. I do hope I'm wrong and that things come back online or you find some way to get your content back but I wouldn't hold my breath. At this point, probably not. Steve appears to have disappeared. You are right about off-line backups, but the really annoying thing is that after all these years without serious incidents whatsoever I felt a bit safe (always wrong). I have some backups, but there aren't up to date, and it really affects me. But I thought that in order to lose everything, well everything would have to disappear with no warning and no help and support from them. And it looks might have happened. *poof* and *disappears*. No help. No support. No explanation. No reply. Not even a hint, "we are packing things up, make sure you do as well". Why would a professional with so many years in the field act like that? I always wonder. He didn't have to put any work. Just give a heads up so we can pack properly. On the other hand I hope it is not something different, more serious. What can I say. I feel stupid, but to my defense, more like cheated and left in the desert. I do hope things come back. Lesson learned with extra and extra backups 10x You are right about off-line backups, but the really annoying thing is that after all these years without serious incidents whatsoever I felt a bit safe (always wrong). The key is that no matter how safe you feel or what the provider promises - having your own off-provider copy of your data [even if it's a bit older] is something most don't value until they need it and don't have it. In your dealings with the provider did you ever speak/work with anybody other than Steve? Could it be that it's a one-man operation and something happened to him? I do hope things come back. Lesson learned with extra and extra backups 10x I suspect extra backups 1x would probably suffice . That's good - at least you have something. I'm sure there are others that have nothing at all . Not enough though That is quite strange. In your dealings with the provider did you ever speak/work with anybody other than Steve? Could it be that it's a one-man operation and something happened to him? I have a total of 20 tickets in my support area (still works), from 2012. Almost all have been answered immediately, and all by Steve (just checked). In 2018, I had only one support request in January, which he did take like 2 days to answer it. Which was not what I was used to, but still it was answered and resolved. I do not know what to think. I sincerely hope he is ok. And as an added bonus that he brings back everything online I sincerely hope he is ok. Me too. Unfortunately, such things (even the worse) happen. EEP keys, how to access them? I have 5 domains (one active, 4 inactive) at LDHOSTING. I have all backups and this is ok, but I need not to miss my Domains names? Any suggestion? You can contact another domain registrar (such as ********) to ask whether they can help move your domains to them. Normally you have to have access to your current provider to get the authorization code. But you can try your luck by asking another registrar, they may have valuable advices for you It seems this is a bad sign, some bad things may have happened to the company. I used them for years for my web sites. Unfortunately, without warning, functions didn't work, couldn't log in to MySql. Luckily, I had an old backup. I guess they went bankrupt. hosting providers u host full review eBannerTraffic.com domain propagation ghoster make money 0 startup make money from home make money playing trivia make money kingdom come deliverance magento 2 hosting uk how to make a money lei make money young host wordpress on aws gab.ag
