m not too considered with showing up as the same character as someone else, but just preferably one that hasn't been cosplayed to death (Chell for example)
I'm 18 (will be 19 at next con) so I can get away with most common characters really.

Thanks for the tips though, i'm definitely keeping costume work in mind, but I have lots of time for this one so I want to at least try making my own.
