Answer: 15% of African Americans bought Toyotas (Shunk).  31% of African Americans that own a smart phone own the RIM Blackberry (Kellogg).
 
Question: What specific products do they use at an above average rate?
Answer: African Americans buy ethnic health and beauty aids, children cologne, feminine hygiene products, fresheners/deodorizers, men’s toiletries, frozen meat and seafood, dry vegetable and grains, personal soap/bathing needs, women’s fragrance and coolers (Nielsen).
 
Question: What is the best media to use to target this group?
Answer: The best media to target African Americans is television. They watch about 40% more T.V. then any other minority group and have about 4 T.V.’s per home (Elagazy).
