A moment which seemed like forever
A moment in which my whole existence had come together
In one frame of time

I saw before me pass my life captured perfectly
This time around in a state of helplessness
We looked ahead and moved on in two different directions
For if eye had met eye
They would have seen the loss and despair
Desolation and hopelessness
At a total loss of warmth
No heartbeat that once made our souls dance
As we had once before in a time and place so long forgotten
Today just the bare naked truth disguised in a frosty icy cold
The tears that so forlornly travelled this road so many times afore
Faded and left in their tracks
Scars that will heal and fade
But the journey that you and I embark upon today
Is one of solitude
One which will make you
