Since there are literally hundreds of CPA offers to choose from on any good network, it can sometimes be very intimidating at first. The requirements for you to get paid a commission on any given offer often ranges from a single email opt-in (which means if someone enters their email into a form you gt paid), to lengthier forms including three, four page surveys, application forms, as well as downloading software, or phone apps. If you can get people to perform any of these actions you will get paid! While CPA offers vary and the requirements associated with being credited for an ‘action’ vary, there is an abundance of high paying CPA offers and programs that you can get involved in that work very well. Squeeze Page Many people prefer setting up squeeze pages because they will eventually have a massive list of subscribers that they can continue to market to forever. This method is for people who are interested in setting up a long term business with recurring income. In this example we could build a list of people with the desire to look young, then in the future continue to market to them some similar products to help them with their diet maybe or even travel…since the target is middle aged women. Many marketers who are good at email marketing claim to make over $1 a month per subscriber. So if you have a list of 5000 people this means you could potentially make over $5000 a month from that list just by promoting other offers to them. (this highly depends on what niche you choose) Building a squeeze page is not hard. In fact it is very simple if you use already made templates, and a service like Aweber. Now we will make the edits to the page and in the next lesson we will set up Aweber. Squeeze page BASICS: With Optimize Press they have some very detailed instructions on how to set up very professional looking squeeze pages for any campaign. Even complete newbies can have professional looking squeeze pages. Once you have your site set up you will want to add about 4 – 5 points about the freebie or benefits of joining your list. This information should explain the issue the person is facing, and how the offer you are giving them can help solve their problem. If you don’t have anything to give them for free to join your list, then send your subscribers to a landing page which has all the benefits you promised, plus some great content. This is what we will be doing in this example. We are going to be offering our subscribers “The Celebrity Secret 2 Step Formula to Reducing Their Wrinkles and Looking 10 Years Younger” and then trying to sell them skin products right away on that same page. You could also create your own ebook which is completely explained in our sample Diet campaign located here >> 5 Phase List Building Sample Campaign – DIET NICHE Step 1 – Edit the Headline and bullet points and text on the page. Since we set this page up on Optimizepress we now have the “Live Editor” Functionality when we go to edit our pages in wordpress. Most CPA Companies pay out anywhere from $0.25 right up to $4.00 for a single email capture (visitor enters in their email for information), while other CPA offers pay out as much as $150.00 for a multi-part process, or even $400 – $1000 for a single conversion on offers like Binary Options Software subscriptions. As described in lesson 1, in order to begin earning money with CPA offers, you will need to enroll into a CPA network. There are networks available online that house a large variety of CPA offers, enabling you to join one website and with the opportunity to participate in multiple programs from many different companies. Once you have been accepted into the CPA Network, you will be given a list of available offers you are allowed to promote. Some will require approval, and all offers will have their own tracking link that you can use to track all of your sales. This link identifies you as an affiliate and when you login into the CPA network, it tracks all of your activity. Your links track your sales and in turn, provide you with conversion rates and other information that can help you determine how well your promotional campaigns are doing. A good network will even provide you with guides, training, and experienced affiliate managers. If you rush and start trying out a bunch of different offers, you are setting yourself up for failure. What Type of Offers Should You Promote? There are several different kinds of CPA offers to promote. Depending on what target market you want to focus on there may be different types of offers available. There is a lot of information in forum related to choosing top niches, and also check out our blog. For example: http://blog.powerhouseaffiliate.com/affiliate-secrets-to-find-a-profitable-niche/ It is essential to evaluate the offers on your network from the point of view of the revenue they would generate for you and the type of traffic you plan on using. You then need to think of some type of angle so that you can sell the offer to your traffic. The most common types of CPA offers are free trials, filling in and submitting a form, mobile app installs, or e-mail & zip submits. Many offers are generally named after the action required for it to convert for you. “Free trial offers” These generally are very profitable offers for YOU the affiliate. The chances of the visitor clicking to the link and consenting to the offer are very high as long as you can ‘presell’ the offer. This is because a customer is offered the product at a highly reduced price of around $4.95 just to have the product shipped to them. Only the shipping charges are demanded, which means the initial investment by the customer is very low and if the product quality is really good, he or she is likely to retain the product. You as a marketer can get paid $40-$100 on these trial offers when a customer simply pays the small shipping fees. Moreover trial offers are a popular type of offer to be promoted particularly if the product quality and reputation is good enough. You as a marketer get a high commission on products simply by driving the customer to the landing page which makes free trial offers amazingly popular. The most popular niches for these trial offers are diet, muscle, skin care, and business opportunity. E-mail submit and Zip code submit These offers are among the other common type of CPA offers but they are getting less and less popular it seems among larger affiliate marketers. Likely because email submits just aren’t like they used to be. If you can find single opt in email submits then they can be very profitable. The only action required on the part of the visitor is to enter his or her zip code or e-mail address and you get a commission! Once they do this action, you as a marketer are entitled to a payment of agreed commission. For obvious reasons the payouts in these offers are considerably lower as compared to trial offers which require a credit card. Normally, a marketer gets somewhere between $1 and $5 per lead. With little effort you can promote these types of offers to a large crowd, and can easily drive traffic to earn substantial income. Just make sure that before you promote these offers you ask when the conversion actually occurs. Many networks advertise these as “email submits” but really the conversion only happens after a much longer form on page 2 of the offer. Mobile Installs or Downloads These types of offers are growing at an enormous rate with so many people using mobile phones and tablets. Payouts are generally lower, but can be as high as $15 just for an app installation. The cost of mobile traffic is also lower then desktop traffic, and some affiliates are generating tens of thousands of downloads per day. Straight Sale Offers Straight sale offers pay you a commission when an actual sale is made. These types of offers are popular in the diet, skin, muscle, supplement, digital products and software niches. These types of offers are great if you have a good pre-sale funnel to send your leads through. Offer Restrictions and Traffic Types Before you choose any offer you want to promote you need to consider its restrictions and types of traffic allowed. Every offer on a network will likely have rules applied to it that you must follow or you risk not getting paid. Every offer will also have a country restriction which means they will only pay you if the customer comes from a certain country. (some offers are global which means you can can paid no matter what country the customer comes from) Search PPC, Social PPC, Banner Display, PPV, and Contextual traffic are the primary ways you are allowed to promote most CPA affiliate offers. Email marketing is a little more strict as well as most free methods. Incentive (giving people things so they complete the offers for you) and classified ads traffic is usually not allowed at all. Traffic Sources for Each Type Search PPC traffic comes from paid search ads. A few of the major search ppc networks are: · Google AdWords · Bing Ads · 7Search You create your text ad, bid on keywords, and when someone searches for your keywords your ad will show up next to their search results. Social PPC is specifically talking about paid ads on social networks. The main Social PPC networks are: · Facebook Ads · Twitter Ads Banner Display traffic would be any traffic you generate using a banner advertisement. A very popular form of traffic which uses images and text is native ads, and generally falls under this category as well. This includes advertising on blogs, or basically advertising on any website using a banner. · Sitescout · Revcontent · Google Display PPV traffic is mainly pop up ads. If you are displaying an advertisement in an exit pop or regular popup then that would be considered PPV traffic too. The main PPV ad networks are: · LeadImpact · Mediatraffic · Trafficvance Incent Traffic would be any time you offer cash, points, or any sort of “gift” for completing an offer. Classified Ads. are usually banned forms of traffic and not recommended without approval.Craigslist, USFreeAds, Kijiji, and any other classified ads site would not be allowed. SMS or Text Message Traffic is another form of traffic that is often frowned upon. Many offers can be promoted on mobile ad networks, but not through text/SMS messaging.
