Cerberus

Earlier I saw a paste with just this word in it, so I figured I'd Google it and the paste a more descriptive paste:

In Greek mythology, Cerberus, often called the "hound of Hades", is a monstrous multi-headed dog, who guards the gates of the underworld, preventing the dead from leaving.
