For many years I lived close to Edenbridge station and my neighbour and I regularly caught the 0715 to Redhill. One morning the conductor guard of said 0715 left the train in the platform and went to knock on my neighbour's door to see if he wanted the train that morning, as he wasn't on the platform. Wonder how that delay got explained in the journals .
