JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A previous Pennsylvania cop who was discovered unaware of an obvious overdose at the station has been accused of taking medications seized as proof and pounding a gap in the mass of the secured confirm room. Previous Johnstown officer William Slisz was summoned Thursday on charges including theft and confirmation altering. State police say Slisz started taking heroin from a transitory proof locker in 2015 and later stole from the safe room. They say he at that point lost access to the room and slithered through the roof into an associate's office to get the key. On Sept. 18, 2016, they say he pounded a gap in the proof room divider before being discovered oblivious and restored with a hostile to overdose medicine. Slisz's legal advisor says he acknowledges duty and has finished treatment.
