How to hack faucets with the 30 minute/1 hour/etc time limits between claiming coins. Note that this will NOT work on sites where you input your inputs.io account. They have security measures in place, I've talked to a dev about it and they have put things up to ensure this doesn't happen. I did this primarily as a proof of concept, not maliciously and when it worked I was surprised. I made about 3 cents off of my time spent doing this. It wasn't much, I almost feel obligated to give it back now. So here's how it works. 1. You download the tor browser bundle: https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en set it someplace safe like your desktop, i think you extract it there i can't remember. 2. Get a inputs.io account or a coinbase or a wallet for BTC. So far I've only tried this on bitcoin sites but I'm sure the same applies to other sites. 3. Generate an address if it already doesn't do that for you which I'm pretty sure it does. 4. Start up tor browser. It's going to start up slow, this is normal. Tor isn't the fastest proxy/shielding whatever in the world. Just let it take it's time. 5. You'll see a start page, and it'll show you your IP address. I'd keep an eye on it but it isn't overally important to know this. 6. Find a bitcoin faucet site, generally they come up right away from google. icanhazbitcoin, landofbitcoin, there's a bunch of them out there. just AS LONG AS THEY DONT REQUIRE AN INPUTS.IO email address to claim your coins. 7. Put your BTC address (it should be a long string of numbers/letters) and finish the captcha, hit send. 8. If all goes well it'll tell you to come back in 30 minutes to claim more awards. 9. In the firefox tor browser, hit the onion button and then choose change identity. You'll be taken back to the start page with (hopefully) a new address. 10. Go back to the site you came from if you haven't book marked them, and input your BTC address and the captcha again. I did this several times in a row, for at least an hour before I got tired of doing it. Like I said tor is slow, and it's going to take some time, I made about 3 cents from it which isn't much but it's better than nothing for a beginner. You are going to run into repeat IP addresses and identities but don't worry, just make a new one and refresh the page and you should be ok. If it comes down to the point where you've run out of new identities that work, just stop. That's it. I did a video, so if you have any questions or want some proof go watch it at: http://youtu.be/LcOXoa7jhJM Thanks for your time reading this. Once again please don't abuse this. And happy mining or whatever it is now that you do to gather these besides faucet sites!
