ZERO improvement in my ranking. My site is in the same position in Google as it was when I started. One thing though is that I am not using any Indexing which is something that was strongly recommended.
Not worth. Most if not all broken. But you should keep testing them, it's pretty cheap and maybe one can find a solution eventually.
 
Google adsense has some 2,000,000 websites. Top 10 is reserved for adsense websites.
