HE Darwin community has been shattered by the loss of two of its own.

Palmerston residents, Wayne and Theresa Baker, were embarking on a big adventure together, but their Europe trip became their last.

Wayne, 55, and Theresa, 53, are survived by their sons, Jeff and Steven.
