1. A true leader welcomes criticisms. You don't fight or exchange words with your critics, you just leave them to keep talking, every great position must always attract great opposition.

2. Every great leader is a great learner. If you are too big to learn, you'd be too small to lead. Knowledge has no limit. Go in search for new ideas and discoveries.

3. A true leader must maintain neutrality. You're for everybody and for nobody. Nothing destroys the reputation of a leader like favouritism.


 
4. A true leader must be sacrificial. If you can't sacrifice for the sake of your followers, then you are not a leader. You just have the interest of your followers at heart over yours.

5. A true leader takes advice. It is the surest way to advance. Nobody knows it all. Go and inquire from those who had been there before and follow the steps, nobody is perfect,

6. Every leader must be a role model to His/Her followers. If your followers don't aspire to be like you, then you're not a true leader.

7. A leader must be deligent. If you can't work, you can't lead, if a leader doesn't work, nothing works.

8. A true leader must be humble. Leadership is not a seat to occupy, it is a feat to accomplish, only humility can take you to the feat you want desire to accomplish.

9. A true leader must be a giver. Because a giver is a leader, when you give to your followers you're considered to be a true leader, as a leader it is your responsibility to show a good example.

10. Every great leader is a great servant. Funny right? But it's the truth. You must be dedicated to service to humanity and to serve at any position you find yourself whether great or small
