Privacy / Anonymity in Gmail account by Phone
When logging with my Gmail account it asks me to add a verification phone number to my account (I use VPN and as I get connected, I get a new IP) to send SMS code.

As I care much about privacy/anonymity in Internet, I dont want to link any personal details to any account. (SIM cards are linked to Personal ID’s)

Can I use these SIM cards I found in ebay and use it just to receive this verification codes and add this SIM card number to my account?

Provided that the SIM cards will be kept active then I don't see why not. Just make sure you get to maintain their service as it could be an issue when these SIM card expires.

You can also buy a phone number online, and it will be yours untill you pay for it, just google some websites that are selling them
