Manchester United is set to launch a bid for Chelsea superstar in the next summer, according to report.

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has told the Red Devil hierarchy to make a move for Cesc Fabregas.

Mourinho has worked with Fabregas at Chelsea and he knows how reliable he is, the Portuguese tactician is monitoring the contract situation of the Spanish midfielder at the Stamford Bridge. 
The Times says pressure from United may force Chelsea having to break their policy of offering a single year extension to players over 30 for Fabregas to keep him at Stamford Bridge.

Fabregas has 18 months left on his current deal and wants to extend it, but the offer from Manchester United might be hard to ignore next summer.

The former Barcelona midfielder has contested for a spot in Conte’s line up since the coach arrival amid competition from other midfielders with varying styles.

The Spanish international has ruled out a move back to his homeland last week if he leaves Chelsea, he’d prefer to remain in England.
