Mount Bintumani
Go out of town and enjoy the sights in Mount Bintumani. This is the highest peak in all of Sierra Leone as it pierces above ground at 6,300 meters. The slopes also are a sight to see with rainforests that are home to many animals and plants endemic to the country. You can encounter animals like dwarf crocodiles, pygmy hippopotamuses, primates, and rufous fishing-owls.
