Choose something you want to purchase on Amazon. Let's use a digital camera for the purpose of example. Add it to your shopping cart. 2. When you have selected whatever it is you would like to purchase (no more than 3 items) it's time to add some kind of ink or nail polish to your order. Find it, and add it to your shopping cart (one or two should do). 3. Now checkout using your desired method of payment 4. The day your order arrives it's time to use of bit of finesse in the social engineering department. 5. Call up Amazon (you CAN also use the live chat, but calling is faster and easier) and tell them something like the following... "Hi, my name is _____ I recently purchased _____ and ______ and there was ink/nail polish spilled all over my _____ (other item you purchased i.e camera) The package for my _____ was stained my ink/nail polish was cracked/exploded and spilled everywhere. How am I supposed to gift this item now? Is there anything you can do to fix this?" Example Message: Hi, my name is _____ I recently purchase a Kindle Fire HD and some nail polish for my niece's birthday. The nail polish arrived cracked and all over the Kindle's packaging. I really don't know how this could have happened, but how am I supposed to gift this now? I had to go buy a replacement Kindle and more nail polish from Target." 6. It's that easy. They will ask for your order number, be polite and answer all of their questions. Remember, you're the 'customer' 7. they will say that they will resend it and apologize for your inconvenience. Say that you have already purchased a replacement or that you want a refund. They will credit your account.
