Taking the train is the best way to experience a city.
In the swaying carriage, passing through mountains and seas, ordinary people's homes, and the ordinary daily scenery in the distance outside the window, there is an inexplicable sense of familiarity with other places in an instant, which makes people feel unspeakable peace of mind. When I went to Shikoku, Japan, I boarded the beautiful JR Shikoku train "Iyonada Monogatari" and started a railway journey from Yawatahama Port in Ehime Prefecture.

The "Iyo Nada Monogatari" sightseeing train started operation in July 2014, running between Matsuyama Station on the Shikoku Yosan Line to Iyo Ozu Station and Yawatahama Station. This train has two carriages, the No. 1 car "Akane Chapter" with the theme of the beautiful sunset (dark red close to the sunset), and the golden No. 2 car "Golden Chapter" that symbolizes the shining sun. The moment I met this train, I couldn't help being amazed, and was instantly conquered by this gorgeous train!
