Accra Hearts of Oak were yesterday held by Liberty Professionals to a 1-1 draw in their mid-week encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium . The match, orignially scheduled for the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park, was shifted to the Accra Stadium at the request of Liberty. Hearts took the lead in the 33rd minute when the skilful Samudeen Ibrahim sent a long pass from the centre line to striker Cosmos Dauda, who dribbled past two of his markers before tapping the ball into the net to send the stadium agog. All attempts by Hearts’ new sensation Patrick Razak and Samudeen to increase the tally proved futile as they created several chances but could not convert them into the needed goals.
