Britain's Johanna Konta advance to the semifinals of the Australian Open with victory over Chinese player Zhang Shuai in the quarter-finals.
24-year-old tennis player who is unseeded, won 6-4 6-1.
He made history as the first British female tennis player who penetrates the semi-final Grand Slam since Jo Durie British player to qualify for the semi-finals in the US Open in 1983.
"I did not do any special preparation for this match," said Konta. "I just want to look and play as well as possible, and provide the best entertainment I can."

Konta, the world's 47th ranked player, will next face seventh-seeded German Angelique Kerber.

Kerber drove early to lead 4-0 and then engaged in a fierce fight in the second set to beat the two-time Australian Open champion, Azarenka 6-3 7-5.
"I really can not describe with words," said Kerber. "My score 0-6 (against Azarenka) before I go on the pitch and I just told myself, 'Play like when you practice, do and be sure that you can beat him.'"
"I'm happy to beat him for the first time."
