some things to do/not do

do:
make your twitpic (avatar) a photo of yourself. try to avoid selfies from weird angles and too much editing 
Tweet things you find funny - dont be overly self conscious 
follow some people you don't know if you enjoy their tweets



don't:
follow people, and unfollow them just to get followers - its annoying, and stupid
 "subtweet". vaugely dramatic tweets such as "I can't believe you would do that. some best friend you are" just don't.
Tweet about how much you love your boyfriend/girlfriend/cat. no one really cares
