Noel Gallagher has been declared as the 2021 Official Record Store Day envoy. 

The previous Oasis star and vinyl sweetheart has promised to help "keep the fire consuming" for nearby record shops - which were essential for his "DNA" growing up. 

He said in an explanation: "Record shops were truly significant when I was growing up. It's a that thing's in my DNA. I think on the off chance that we can keep record shops open for as far as might be feasible, we owe it to the youngsters of this country. During the current year's Record Store Day I'll get included. I have something novel coming out. Ideally the fans will like it and they'll keep the fire consuming for your neighborhood record shop."
