We are working on our new website, and as of now, we have used PayPal only for purchases. I have made a little account manager in PHP to handle all of our accounts and account creations. However, I know that we are missing alot of sign-ups due to accepting only PayPal. We have a merchant account through our Bank, and we might use that for the credit card transactions. My question is, what should I do to integrate PayPal/normal Credit Card accounts together. How do you guys think I should handle this, any recommendations. Am I still best off using ModernBill?

Well Modernbill is great, even though I prefer WHMap. If you have Modernbill stick with it. If not use WHMap

What does WHMAP offer that ModernBill doesn't have? Which handles PayPal better? WHMAP I believe is much cheaper than ModernBill also.

WHMap is more based to hosting. It is very well intergrated with cPanel/WHM and gives everything you need.Modernbill on the other hand does tend to go over the top on billing.

If you have lots of clients ModernBill is your thing... (lots = 1000+)

Once you get so big you create your own.. you have to remember that.

Yah I understand. ModernBill is also alot more expensive than whmAP to, as when I checked. I am second guess this Merchant Account that our bank offers. I am looking at some merchant accounts right now. I think I may go with WorldPay. What do you think of that?

Worldpay is probably he best out there that is popular followed by Authoirze.net Both WHMap and ModernBill support them

Okay Tris, you seem to know your stuff about this billing stuff. I know PayPal offers a Merchant Account setup. How well does theirs work with WHMAP/Modern Bill? Ahh I just noticed that they have a $3000/minimum per month on the transactions. We do most business through PayPal, so that may just knock that out of question for the moment.

I believe the merchant is actually good but it is not as good as WorldPay still. They just revamped it so to be honest I am not 100% sure as I have not tested it yet or tried the new features

We use WHMAP w/ a merchant account....getting a little tired of WHMAP's lack of updates though :/
