Beautiful shades of pain,
 lurking just behind her fake smile. tell-tale signs of a past and of the present coexisting together loosely hidden deep inside behind her smile.

 Tension-jarred shoulders,
 invisible burdens, heartache, mixed emotions.
 No-one can see how weighed down her heart is and would anyone really care ?

 Footsteps worn into her life's unsettling journey ,
 inevitable occurrences that never end.
 with shadowed collarbones and worn skin. Trapped in blunt routine with judgments without understanding or forgiveness. 

She thought life would be so much more
But it's really the same as it ever was, just big unsettling emotional ride. When what she desperately wanted/wants isn't what she got/gets
But she takes it anyway she can to have something to hold onto for a life time Deep inside behind her smile or just for a little while !
