Tafelberg
Tafelberg is a summit located at the Sipaliwini District of Suriname just like the other tourist attraction of the country, Julianatop. The mountain is shorter than Julianatop at 3,366 feet or 1,026 meters. Its mother peak is the Wilhelmina Mountains, as well. The name Tafelberg literally means “table top”. The Tafelberg has a flat summit unlike most mountains wherein a cone is visible. It is one of the major tourist destinations in Suriname for its unique shape.
