Peranakan Museum
The Peranakan Museum is one of the places to visit in Singapore and it is all about Peranakan heritage. What is Peranakan? Peranakan are Chinese descendants or simply called Chinese straits. They are a mix of British Malay, Dutch Indies and Chinese.
In this museum, you will see ten galleries with a Special Exhibitions Gallery in level 3. These collections explain in detail what Peranakan heritage is all about, how Peranakan weddings are celebrated, the arts and crafts of Peranakan (one of which is the Nonya) and a lot more.
