I recently hired a temp to fill in while my secretary was on maternity leave.

Negotiating her wages, I asked what she expected.

She replied, "Well, I need at least five hundred a week."

I told her, "I will give you that much with pleasure."

She shook her head and answered, "Oh, no. With pleasure, its gotta be a thousand!"
