It’s been three years since Cory Monteith’s untimely death, but his former Glee co-star and real-life girlfriend, Lea Michele, has just paid tribute to him in the most permanent way.

The 29-year-old actress — who was dating Monteith at the time of his death from a drug overdose in 2013 — shared a photo of her most recent ink honoring him. The tiny tattoo is a number 5, the same number Monteith’s Glee character, Finn Hudson, wore on his football jersey. Michele captioned the pic, “And one more.. for my quarterback..”


Earlier that day, Michele shared a photo of another new tattoo: a small coffee cup on her ring finger dedicated to her grandmother, who passed away earlier this week. “She gave me my first cup of coffee when I was 8 years old,” Michele wrote on Instagram. “She said something inappropriate to every boyfriend I’ve ever had. She never made pie or knit me a sweater. But she was my grandma and I loved her… More than anything..”
