Plage de Grande-Anse Plage de Grande-Anse or Grande-Anse Beach is the longest beach in Guadeloupe which has a length of more than a kilometer. It is situated in Ziotte near Deshaies and Basse-Terre and it forms a perfect arc which makes it look every exclusive. When most of the beaches in the Caribbean have white sand, Grande-Anse has caramel-colored with a bit of golden shade sand. The sand was a remnant of a volcanic eruption plenty of years ago and now, the area is well-vegetated. It is one of the places to visit in Guadeloupe.
